Bottling Notes
Here’s a unique bottling from the highly sort after “HH” era that was matured for 14 years in a French oak Port cask in 2001 and decanted in 2015. This was the first modern version of the standard Sullivans Cove range also known as ‘4th Generation Sullivans Cove’ (2008-2016). These labels finally gave Sullivans Cove a unique identity that would become an Australian icon, and is the basis for the branding the distillery uses today.
These bottles were also the first to feature the side tag with unique cask and bottle info for each batch. At that time, the distillery was known as “Tasmania Distillery” and Sullivans Cove was just the brand name for the whisky produced there. Now both the distillery and the whisky are called Sullivans Cove, so you won’t see “Produced by Tasmania Distillery” on any rear labels of Sullivan’s Cove whisky from 2017 to today.
Our only bottle to sell.
