Description:
Every once in a while, Sullivans Cove finds something exceptional in their warehouse, different from their usual French oak tawny and American oak bourbon casks. They label these offerings ‘Special Single Cask’ Tasmanian single malt whisky.

Available on the Sullivans Cove website via ballot only, this is the first time the distillery has matured their spirit in an American Oak cask previously used to age Frontignac, a highly aromatic style of fortified wine. Frontignac is a red grape of low colour intensity that produces white wines in sweet or dry styles, similar to Traminer. The result is a luscious, one-of-a-kind whisky of exceptional balance and complexity.
