Producer’s tasting notes
Nose: Lovely and floral with geraniums and dark red roses, along with dates, cherry cola, chocolate and spiced plum sauce.
Palate: Treacle, golden raisins and dried orange peel followed by then a wave of fortified wine flavours with elegant tannins and a velvety texture.
Finish: The beautiful earthy notes linger for days with chocolate, Persian fairy floss, marmalade and Middle Eastern spices.

Bottling Notes
Now here’s another stunning example of a rare Sullivans Cove bottling.
Special Cask 5th Edition comes from a single French Oak Apera (Australian sherry-style fortified wine) cask: TD0263. Distilled in April of 2008 and decanted in October of 2018, this cask aged for ten years, is bottled at 44.8% abv and yielded only 536 bottles. The resulting whisky exhibits a broad, deep spirit character tempered and framed beautifully by the delicate spice, fruit, confection and nutty notes of the French oak cask soaked in gorgeous Australian fortified wine.
Long sold out at the distillery, don’t miss your opportunity to add one of these beauties to your collection or drinking stock today.
