For all you cask strength aficionados, don’t be influenced by the lower ABV not ticking all the boxes. This is one viscous and complex whisky that drinks perfectly at 46.9%. Think Sultana Bran, plummy fruits, macerated cherries, Turkish coffee and a hint of cola. Delicious.

Description:
This is the 11th single cask release of Redlands origin by TIB (which includes Old Kempton) that has been one popular expression, completely sold out at the Heartwood bond store. Tim first sourced their ‘new make’ years ago and then put the spirit to work in two stages in 1 x 50-year-old port cask for the first stage and then again, a 50-year-old port cask for stage 2.
Tim calls the result “stunning……. possibly the best whisky in Australia”.
