Description:
The Remnant Whisky company was formed in January 2020 by Peter Bignell (Belgrove Distillery), his son Dane, and their associates. Together, they bought nearly 300 full barrels of Nant whisky from investors stung by the failed buy-back scheme under the previous owner of Nant, and put together a rescue deal to purchase the barrels, setting out to blend and bottle whisky that almost never saw the light of day.
The result is another pearler facetiously named ‘Herd Not Seen’, an unpeated single malt whisky aged in sherry/wine casks and bottled at an easy-drinking 44.5% ABV with no-chill filtered.
