Description:
An exceptional collectors’ limited-edition single cask whisky that was blended in 2016 from nine Tasmanian distilleries including Sullivans Cove, Lark, Overeem, Belgrove, McHenry, Redlands, Mackey, Iron House and Fanny’s Bay. The single Sherry cask was left to mature at Fannys Bay Distillery for over 2 years and then bottled by Mathew & Julie Cooper from Fannys Bay in June 2018.

Only 26 bottles were yielded from a blend of the best matured new-make that Tasmania has to offer. It’s a rare piece of Tasmanian whisky history that would be the cornerstone of any Australian whisky collection. This is our only bottle to sell – Bottle number 3 of 26.

The bottle is signed by owners and distillers Mathew and Julie Cooper!

The Tasmanian Whisky Collection Background
In 2015, nine members of the Tasmanian Whisky Producers Association each donated twenty-litres of new make spirit to be expertly blended at Tasmania Distillery. The resultant spirit was then used to fill eleven purpose-built casks. The filled casks were then sent back to each distillery for maturation on site. The Tasmanian Collection is a snapshot in time of the skills of the Tasmanian whisky industry, which perfectly captures the unique terroir and subtleties gained from maturation in distinctly different surroundings.
