This single cask expression (HH0367) contains some very old Sullivans Cove whisky and was independently bottled by Thornbury Spirits Co. along with 2 more expressions in 2017. The whisky was distilled in 2000 and then laid to rest for 17 years in an ex-bourbon cask before been bottled 57.5% ABV.

“17 years is a pretty decent age even for most Scotch whiskies, but by Tasmanian whisky standards, it equates to old, wise and quietly pensive. There is a great deal of depth here; it isn’t overpowering, but it certainly retains a healthy presence”.
