Description:
Waubs first ever Limited Release, the Apsley Collab, is a collaboration with eminent winemaker Brian Franklin from Apsley Gorge Vineyard in Tasmania to create this special single malt whisky. The expression was distilled, matured & bottled at Waubs Harbour Distillery on the east coast of Tasmania, just metres from the ocean and covered in salty air.

The Aspley Collab was made firstly using ex-Apera Sherry casks, drawing out spiced apple and creamy fruits, and finished in Apsley Gorge Vineyard ex-Pinot Noir casks, bringing notes of raspberry, blackberry and an oak complexity. This bottling sold out almost overnight at the distillery and the team have sent an allocation our way for our loyal supporters as well.
