Tasting notes
NOSE. Big spicy notes of sherry and raisins hit the nose with the force of a molasses-like tornado followed by notes of cinnamon and oak. Soft whiffs of Grandfather Port round it off.
PALATE. Velvet oily mouthfeel. Lots and lots of sherry followed by espresso coffee, caramel and a hint of liquorice. More dried fruits.
FINISH. Decadent. Long and dry with lingering oak. A real treat, complexity heaven with many layers.
