From Japan’s first and oldest distillery, established in 1923 by Suntory’s founder; Shinjiro Torri, comes this extraordinarily rare Yamazaki bottling which has become quite the enigma. Created to celebrate the life of Japan’s iconic Keizo Saji when he was awarded the Recipients of the Order of the Sacred Treasure medal, 1st class in 1989. It’s purported that most of the whiskies contained within were distilled back in the early-to-mid 1960s from Yamazaki’s hidden reserves all consisting of Yamazaki stock that have been aged for over 25 years.
A truly rare piece of Japanese whisky history and the only bottle of its kind available in Australia. Would make a great conversation piece and the cornerstone of any Japanese whisky collection.
Please note: The bottle doesn't come with box and accessories and is priced accordingly.
