Description
Here’s a unique offering from Cadenhead’s from the Diageo owned Teaninich Distillery. The Teaninich spirit was first laid down in ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years before been re-racked into Sauternes’ wine casks for an additional tasty 3 years. Like all Cadenhead’s expression, this whisky was bottled with no added colour and no chill filtration.
About Teaninich Distillery
The distillery was founded and built in 1817 by Hugh Munro on his estate of Teaninich Castle. These days, the distillery is known as Diageo’s work horse with the ability to pump out $10 Million + litres annually, producing malt whisky for its range of blends. As far as we know, there are no official bottlings other than a 10-year-old in their flora and fauna series.
