Description
From Islay’s very own Caol Ila comes this moreish offering that was laid to rest for 12 years in a first fill bourbon barrel, before finishing for 3 months in a Brunello di Montalcino wine hogshead. Heavily peated malt meets the memory of a full-bodied Tuscan red. Dried fruits and smoky bacon mingle in this complex spirit that was bottled at 53.3% ABV for an all-round remarkable pour.
