Description
For the cask release programme, Master Blender Rachel Barrie selects the finest Spanish oak casks with Batch 18 including single malt whiskies as old as 30 years and as young as 11 years (from 1990 to 2009). Each yearly batch represents an exquisite collection of sherry butts and puncheons to be bottled as the GlenDronach ‘Limited Release’ Batch series.
This GlenDronach single cask is one of only 710 bottles that was laid to rest for 12 years in a single Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon. Rare and collectable, it’s next level Glendronach.
Master Blender, Dr Rachel Barrie, said:
“The GlenDronach Cask Bottling Batch 18 is a celebration of the distillery’s time-honoured mastery and a showcase of the finest of what this richly-sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has to offer”
