Aromas of intense campfire smoke, ripe plums, cherries, peaches, marzipan and sea spray fill the nose, complemented by notes of black pepper, salty peat smoke, apricot, lemon, stewed plums, apricot jam and rich smoke throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.

Bottling Notes
It seems like Kilchoman is having a great time releasing their limited edition, and exploratory bottlings and this expression is the perfect example. Casado (Portuguese for marriage) is matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were married together for 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portuguese red wine vats. The whisky was then bottled at 46% ABV non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
