Nose: Sweet sultanas and raisins with rounded peat smoke and layers of liquorice and hints of citrus sweetness.
Palate: Brown sugar and malty sweetness then orange peel, citrus, dark chocolate and waves of sherry sweetness.
Finish: Chocolate coated raisins, oak smoke, mixed spices and lasting PX sweetness.

Indulge in the first ever Kilchoman expression to be fully matured for up to 5 years in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, a vatting of 61 casks to be precise.
The whisky is nicely peated to 50ppm (phenols per million) offering a complex tipple of smoked, dark chocolate, blood oranges and beautiful spirit to cask synergy. Don’t be disheartened by the relatively young age statement, the distillery knows exactly what they’re doing here, with the result being almost flawless.
