Released in 2017, this 10yo is not technically a Feis Ile bottle but was only available at the distillery and on the Laphroaig dedicated website selling out in a few hours with demand been so high it crashed the entire page.
Bottled at cask strength and matured in seasoned oak casks charred to impart sweet vanilla nuttiness and only released in very small batches annually. It’s distinct, full bodied and utterly unforgettable. To fully appreciate the rich aroma of peat smoke and smells of the sea, Laphroaig recommends adding a little extra water than usual.
