The magic of Feis Ile should be celebrated by scotch whisky enthusiasts at least once in their lifetime and this latest Laphroaig Cairdeas 2018 is a wonderful tribute to Islay’s celebration of malt and music. With Cairdeas meaning friendship in Gaelic, it’s the perfect whisky to toast and drink with friends.

This 2018 release showcases a special double maturation, slowly maturing in first fill bourbon casks and then Fino (refined) Sherry casks that were laid to rest in Warehouse 8 and 10. Barrier filtered and non-chill filtered, you’ll find this whisky has notes of toasted almonds, dried fruit and sea salt, all of which perfectly complement Laphroaig’s signature peaty flavour.
