Description
Each year, Longrow releases a whisky finished in different types of ‘RED’ wine casks.
With this 2024 release, the spirit spent four years in bourbon barrels, before being transferred to fresh Pinot Noir casks from Burgundy’s Domaine Florent Garaudet, where it rested for an additional three years.
These Longrow Red bottlings have sparked some debate among whisky enthusiasts, some who believe that the brand doesn’t need to play around with secondary maturations, whereas the majority of connoisseurs (at least in our experience), absolutely adore the red wine influence on the Longrow, peated spirit.
