Description
Each year, Longrow releases a whisky finished in different types of ‘RED’ wine casks with this 2020 expression matured for 7 years in bourbon barrels followed by a further 3 years of slumber in refill Malbec barriques from the De Toren winery in South Africa who are famous for their Bordeaux-styled wines. The expression was bottled in December 2020 but it didn’t appear in stores until early 2021.

First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
