The Distillers Edition bottlings are released each year and take the core of Diageo’s ‘Classic Malts’ collection and finish them in unique wine casks selected by the Master Distiller.
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016, this Talisker Distillers Edition has undergone an exclusive second maturation in casks previously containing Amoroso sherry. The sweetness of the sherry cask works to balance the rugged, maritime flavours of the whisky with beautiful balance.
