Just arriving on our virtual shelves is the elusive Macallan 25-Year-Old Sherry Oak 2019 release. Exclusively matured in Sherry Oak Casks from Jerez, Spain and created from whiskies distilled circa 1994 and earlier, there’s not too much to say about this 25-year-old sherry bomb as Macallan fans worldwide know it literally speaks for itself.
Macallan sherry matured (age statement) whisky prices have skyrocketed in recent years due to huge demand by the consumer and the scarcity of quality sherry casks meaning Australia only gets a very small allocation of the upper-age-statement Macallan expressions.
