Each year, Michter’s releases its 10-year-old single barrel bourbon in extremely limited quantities. However, details remain scarce, aside from its use of premium American corn and careful ageing in fire-charred new American white oak barrels.

This stands as one of Michter’s most exceptional limited releases. Named ‘Best American Whiskey’ by Food & Wine, it reflects a relentless focus on flavour over age. Each batch draws from barrels matured well beyond a decade, then held until the profile is just right. In fact, some casks age even longer before they are finally selected for bottling.

The proof is deliberately “low” for a premium bourbon.
