Here’s a small little parcel from the whisky library of Dan Woolley aptly named ‘Aperye’ as it’s a lightly peated single malt whisky that was aged in a 100 litre Apera cask and then finished in a delicious Rye whiskey cask. Out of the 12 x 500ml bottles available, Dan sent a case (6 bottles) our way for our loyal supporters as well. An expression that never made it on Highwayman’s website, rarer than a four-leaf clover growing on a blue moon. 😉
