Description:
Here’s an older bottling of Sullivans Cove from the highly sort after fourth generation (The “HH” era) that was matured for 14 years in American oak (ex-bourbon cask) in 2000 and decanted in 2015. This was one of the first modern versions of the 4th gen’ standard Sullivans Cove range that were released between 2008 and 2016. These labels finally gave Sullivans Cove a unique identity that would become an Australian icon, and is the basis for the branding the distillery uses today.
Interesting fact
The bottles were also the first to feature the side tag with unique cask and bottle info for each batch. At that time, the distillery was known as “Tasmania Distillery” and Sullivans Cove was just the brand name for the whisky produced there. Now both the distillery and the whisky are called Sullivans Cove, so you won’t see “Produced by Tasmania Distillery” on any rear labels of Sullivan’s Cove whisky from 2017 to today.
Note: This is our only bottle to sell and the box shows minor signs of wear. We rate it 8/10, please view the images provided.
