Description
This 12-year-old Islay from the Caol Ila distillery is part of Wm Cadenhead’s 2021 ‘Original Collection’ that has replaced the earlier Single Cask and Small Batch collections with the entire range bottled at 46% ABV. Matured in ex bourbon cask, it’s a heavily peated whisky that is free from chill filtration and artificial colourings.
Cadenhead’s tells us that; “This gem from Islay displays a delicate peat smoke but also has a lovely fruity flavour and a cracking meaty finish, highlighting the characteristic you’d expect from a peaty Islay dram and more”
