This iconic Laphroaig expression was never available in whisky shops and has been described by the distillery as the ‘Best of the Best’. It was released in 2008 to celebrate ‘Friends of Laphroaig’ worldwide with a minimal output of only 1536 bottles. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of ownership signed by Laphroaig’s very own John Campbell
Double matured, firstly in a combination of approx. 60% sherry and 40% ex-bourbon casks. Then prior to bottling, it was married together & matured for a final period in ex-bourbon casks resulting in a rich and powerfully complex expression.
Rare investment grade whisky

Håkan Hall –
This is by far one of the best whiskies i have ever tasted, i bougth two bottles, and opened one of them, and will be collecting the other.
I would say rather unlike anything else by Laphroaig, deep in nose as well as taste, but entirely without the strong peated 10 year old taste.
Furthermore, it has a very special nose that is quite hard to describe. If you have a bottle, cherish it hard!
